Nestled near the edge of town, Gina’s lies between the Feed Mill Market and Off the Rail cafe. Together they make the Feed Mill Shops in Elkhart Lake.

Tucked in the Feed Mill Shops of Elkhart Lake lies a beautiful little store with an atmosphere as unique as its owner.

For 10 years, Gina’s Fine Gifts and Framing has been owned by Gina Borland in this historic resort town. As you walk into the store, it’s obvious that an artistically refined mood has been deliberately created.

“I would describe my store as an eclectic collection of all things fun,” Gina said. “I’ve worked hard to create a unique atmosphere from the candles and home decor we sell to the music playing in the background.”

Gina’s offers a collection of fine gifts including luxurious bath and body products, fine stationery, bags and purses, candles and home fragrances, apparel and shoes, artisan jewelry, tea and tea accessories, eco-friendly household products and cleaners, home décor, and greeting cards for any occasion.

All items make the perfect gift for any occasion including holidays, birthdays, special occasion/hostess gifts, bridal showers, or just something special with which to spoil yourself.

The store emphasizes its household products being as eco-friendly as possible. “Items like our household cleaners aren’t full of harmful chemicals and weren’t tested on animals,” she said.

Gina’s offers over 100 different home fragrances available in candles and diffusers, kitchen accessories and gadgets and all things fun for decorating and creating that perfect aesthetic for your home. She also carries artisan jewelry from all over the country, which makes it easy to find the perfect gift for yourself or someone special.

“This year I’m working to expand our outdoor/athletic apparel to offer more shoes, purses and scarves,” Gina said.

The store offers a unique collection of stylish bags and totes, wallets and iPad covers that make great accessories for any occasion. Current brands in store are Horny Toad apparel, Smartwool & Goodhew socks, Haiku bags, Jambu, Ahnu and OluKai shoes and sandals as well as Pistil Hats, scarves and accessories. This fun selection of great outdoor apparel will continue to expand throughout 2013 and into 2014.

Gina’s hosts a selection of over 100 different teas that include red, white, black and herbal teas. Brands available include Octavia, Rishi Tea, Stash Tea, Tea Forte, The Republic of Tea, Harney & Sons and Yogi Tea. If Gina’s doesn’t have the flavor you want in stock, ask about special orders. The large selection of tea accessories includes everything one needs to enjoy their tea drinking experience to the fullest.

Custom framing services

Gina’s Fine Gifts and Framing planted its roots a decade ago because of its growing custom framing business.

“I had been doing custom framing for about five years before I opened the store as an art student in college for my own artwork,” Gina said. “As people became aware of the skills I had developed they wanted me to start framing things for them, hence the need for a storefront to showcase my work and a space to house the large selection of moulding samples we now offer.”

Since then, Gina has cultivated 15 years of experience in framing artistry and customer service which resonates with her returning loyal clients.

Gina’s offers professional custom framing services which include needlework framing, shadow boxes, sports memorabilia, sports jersey framing, special occasions, weddings, fine art framing, museum and conservation framing (acid free materials used), glass replacement, custom mirrors, children’s art, awards and diplomas.

“We also do a lot of commercial framing for businesses, office spaces, hotels and resorts,” she said. One of her favorite commercial projects was providing custom framing for the new condo building and all of its units at Siebkens Resort in Elkhart Lake.

Gina’s takes an honest approach to provide a completely custom framing service all while making it a uniquely fun experience for her clients.

Gina said, “I work closely with each of my clients to create design concepts for each project that is unique and specific to their needs as well as their budgets.”
