Multiple agencies take part in training at NH facility

A training exercise recently was conducted at K&M Warehouses behind Bob Miller Trucking in New Holstein. Multiple area firefighting agencies as well as other entities such as the New Holstein First Responders took part in the drill. New Holstein should continue to be a hub for firefighting training in the future as the department soon will be breaking ground for a new training tower on the city’s northeast side. The facility—which will be able to be used for a fee by other area departments— will enable firefighters to practice a variety of situations they might encounter when their pagers sound.
