Schneider said he is seeing more activity in the home construction and remodeling industry over last year. “We have several projects we are working right now and this trend seems to be continuing moving forward. Rural Insurance adds new agent
of Rural Mutual Insurance in Chilton as a new agent.
Mueller has a degree in Finance with a minor in Insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. “Eric is a very outgoing person and very knowledgeable also,” said Randy Pingel, who has been with Rural Mutual for 12 years.
Located at 18 W. Main St., Rural Mutual Insurance is an all-lines agency with property and casualty insurance along with life and health. “We have a great farm product along with a very good commercial product also,” Pingel said. “Life insurance is an always-needed product as well.”
Pingel added, “Our goal is to keep all current clients satisfied with where they are. We also would like to entertain quoting other personal homes and autos, farms and commercial business accounts.”

Zion Lutheran nears centennial
Zion Lutheran Church of New Holstein
is approaching its centennial in 2015.
The congregation was officially incorporated in 1915. Zion has now been served by 11 pastors during its history and blessed by God’s grace with dedicated members and staff.
The Rev. Azor Cigelske was ordained and installed as Zion’s new pastor in December. Prior to that he had been serving the congregation as a vicar.
Zion also has a new part-time, paid music director in Carrie Frechette. Vocal groups include a mixed choir, a men’s choir and a children’s choir. Instrumental groups consist of an adult praise band, a youth praise band, an adult hand chime choir and a youth hand chime choir. Duets and solos also feature accompaniments with keyboard, flute and trumpet.
Sunday worship services are at 7:45 and 10:15 between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Contemporary services are held at the late service on the third Sundays of the month. A traditional service is held at the early service on the third Sunday. A blended order of service is used at all other services. Summer worship is at 9 a. m. on Sundays and 7 p. m. Wednesdays.

The Laundromat adds big washer
A 75-pound capacity wash machine was recently installed at The Laundromat in New Holstein, according to owner Mike Hartmann.
The new machine can handle two or three quilts or one to five family loads of laundry. In addition to that machine, Hartmann has been upgrading other washers and dryers at The Laundromat, located at 2125 Calumet Ave. (STH 32/57).
Started in 1998, The Laundromat is a self-serve coin laundromat which also offers pick-up and drop-off service.
Hartmann is active in the community as a member of the New Holstein Area Chamber of Commerce as well as Business to Business in New Holstein.
