Located in Plymouth and celebrating 89 years in the automotive industry, Meyer Motors attributes a lot of their success to top-notch employees who embody personal service, vehicle knowledge and no pressure sales.

Tom and Joan Jansen and their dog Onya are thrilled to be the new owners of their 2015 Sierra 2500 Denali HD and said they wouldn’t have bought the truck from any other dealership other than Meyer Motors.

The top of the line Denali has a large towing capacity, gorgeous interior and every bell and whistle according to Meyer Motors employee Sarah Galbari. “Tom always wanted a diesel,” Galbari said. “He also wanted a smooth ride for trips to Minnesota. The Denali had everything he wanted and needed in a vehicle for towing and payload.”

With triple door seals, inlaid doors and other refinements added to the redesigned cabin, the 2015 Sierra HD offers the quietest ride of HD pickups. The heated and cooled Denali embossed leather trimmed front bucket seats along with a heated leather wrapped steering wheel and soft touch instrument panel continue the long list of amenities in the popular vehicle.

Additional rear leg room has been added along with new forward hinged rear doors, which make getting into and out of the rear seat easier than ever.

The newly designed instrument panel on the Sierra HD puts controls within easy reach. The latest technologies work smarter and more efficiently, ensuring the driver is surrounded by everything needed to perform at the highest level.

Galbari said the general features of the HD Sierra include many options and appeals to many different users for their own unique reasons. “Whether buyers are looking for luxurious riding and styling or heavy duty trailering capabilities, these trucks are professional grade and offer powerful capabilities,” she said. “They drive extremely quiet and the cabin is luxurious.”

Top engineering and design make

the Sierra HD look smart and work efficiently with a trailering capacity of up to 14, 500 pounds with a conventional ball hitch. Its heavy duty power includes the Duramax 6.6L V-8 Turbo Diesel along with the Allison 6 speed automatic transmission combining to provide 765 pound feet of torque and a maximum highway range of up to 650 miles on a single fill up. Guests can choose Sierra HD with the 6.0L V8 standard fuel injection option.

Galbari is proud to be a part of the family owned dealership. “We are very personable,” she explained. “We have a lot of return customers and referrals. I came here because of the ethics of the dealership and I really enjoy my job. I have a lot of satisfaction in getting a person into the right vehicle within their budget.”

“Our last three trucks were purchased here in 2011, 2013 and now 2015,” Tom Jansen said. “We’ve had Chevy GMC’s for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy one. I have worked with a lot of dealerships and this place is really special. Very nice people and the parts guys are dynamite.”

A retired auto mechanics teacher, Jansen said he has always wanted to own a diesel truck. “It is a dandy,” he said. I am still learning things about it. It is the best heavy duty truck I have ever owned. The mileage for something that big and heavy is really good.”

Calling the mechanic work at the dealership top shelf, Jansen said the dealership does everything they can to make things right. “I’ll never buy a truck anywhere else.”
