Meyer Motors employee Matt Horstman worked with customer Pat Longstaff to find a vehicle that would fit her needs and be happy to drive.

A dealership that provides personal service and takes the time to get to know its customer, treating them like part of the family is the reputation of Meyer Motors in Plymouth.

Meyer Motors employee Matt Horstman enjoyed helping customer Pat Longstaff choose and lease her new Buick Encore. “We bought our first Buick here in 2002 and I’ve loved the people here ever since,” Longstaff said.

Horstman worked to help Longstaff find a vehicle that would fit her needs and one that she would be happy to drive. “I loved it from the moment I sat in it,” Longstaff said. “I like the way it drives; it is lovely to drive. I love everything about it.”

The Encore is Buick’s premium crossover with a direct fuel injection 1.4 liter turbocharged engine. The ice blue ambient lighting is calming and is an expressive reflection of character as is the signature waterfall grille.

Special features like OnStar with 4G LTE and a built in Wi-Fi hot spot provide great signal quality and bandwidth and provides a fast way for passengers to tap into the available high speed wireless internet. Up to seven mobile devices can easily browse websites, stream movies, or check emails. The available Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning are gaining in popularity as well as the Side Blind Zone Alert. Encore helps drivers feel secure.

The rear vision camera helps the driver see what is behind the Encore and the available rear cross traffic alert helps awareness of oncoming traffic while backing.

Popular when the weekend rolls around as well as for daily usage, the five passenger Encore seating transforms easily to nearly 50 cubic feet of cargo space.

“Pat loved many characteristics of the Encore as well as the concept of leasing and both really fit her lifestyle,” Horstman said. “It’s styling, drivability and fun features make it the right fit for many people, whether it be a college bound student who needs the convertibility for storage and friends or empty nesters who need an easy to get in and out of vehicle for easy commuting. It’s a surprisingly peppy vehicle.”

Longstaff said the vehicle is just the right size for her. “When you get to be a senior citizen, vehicles are not easy to get in and out of,” Longstaff said, adding she is thrilled with the work she has received in the service department over the years as well. “They are so helpful. It doesn’t matter what it is, when I call they get me in.”

“The dealership is made up of the people who work here,” she continued. “Sometimes you go into a place and you don’t feel comfortable. Here you do.”

Longstaff enjoys the many compliments she is receiving on her new Buick Encore and is grateful to have discovered the lease option through Horstman’s assistance. “Leasing gives flexibility some customers need,” Horstman said. “Listening to our customers and taking an interest in what they need and what is best for them is what we strive to do.”
