From the homeowner who needs a leaf blower to some of the state’s largest farm operations which need the biggest machinery, Riesterer & Schnell has what people want and gets it to them when they need it.
Now with 10 locations in northeast Wisconsin—including one at the corner of USH 151 and STH 67 east of Chilton— Riesterer & Schnell has established itself as the implement and equipment dealer which serves a wide spectrum of customers. Customers big and small, however, all get treated the same way— with dependable products, prompt but patient service, and a quality-focused sales and support staff.
The homeowner who has precious few hours on a weekend to get a project done needs to be able to trust their equipment and the dealer from which they purchased it.
A farmer or the owner of a landscaping business, on the other hand, knows that time is money, so that trust becomes even more important. With a history which dates back to the days of the Great Depression and the growth it continues to see today, it is evident Riesterer & Schnell is living up to its motto: “Coming Through for You.”
Defining core customers
Sales Manager Steve Boehm and Marketing Director Angie Ansorge said that in order to make sure Riesterer & Schnell continues to come through for its customers, it is focusing on better defining its core customer groups during 2012.
Large farm producers continue to be a huge part of Riesterer & Schnell’s business, not just in Chilton but at its locations in Denmark, Neenah, Pound, Hortonville, Pulaski, Antigo and Medford. Riesterer & Schnell certainly benefits by partnering with John Deere as its primary equipment supplier, and vice versa.
“They’re willing to stand behind their products,” Boehm said of John Deere, adding that the service and support provided by the 175-year-old company is excellent.
Some of the John Deere tractors being used by farmers these days are certainly a far cry from what their grandfathers used. The 8R/8RT Series, for example, has Active Command Steering which adapts to the way the farmer drives and operates them, giving the operator more confidence, comfort and control. Those tractors are also emissions compliant, and offer the JDLinkTM system which sends realtime updates via the Web and the farmer’s cell phone to help better manage their operation. “We’re doing onsite training with our customers,” Boehm said.
That list of locations in Wisconsin for Riesterer & Schnell, Inc. also should now include Fond du Lac and Campbellsport as company officials announced recently they had completed the acquisition of Serwe Implement Co., Inc.
The acquisition consists of two John Deere dealerships with locations in Campbellsport and Fond du Lac, which will give Riesterer & Schnell a total of 10 locations located throughout northeastern and northcentral Wisconsin.
Serwe Implement served the Campbellsport area community since 1934 providing John Deere products and
