Gourmet meats and cheeses are used in their classic Panini sandwiches. In their relaxed coffeehouse style setting you can enjoy a hearty and filling Tuscan Panini, made with Tuscan ham, Genoa salami, provolone cheese, romaine lettuce and roma tomatoes. They also have a sandwich menu and items for children.

Terra Verde respectfully understands lunch-time restrictions some customers have and welcomes call in/pick up orders ahead of time. Many people already take advantage of this service. So, call ahead to expedite your travels, they’ll have it all ready for you. Ask for the daily specials, or try something new!

Gluten-free products have made a permanent mark within their menu. Glutenfree Panini options have been added due to customer feedback from an online survey last year.

They continue to create, combining chemistry and community.

The art of coffee making itself has a deeply profound root within the business. The Sosas continue to educate themselves, the baristas, as well as their patrons about the world of coffee, the roasting process, and specialty breakfast, lunch and dinner food items.

Supporting the arts

Wishing to give something back to the communities they serve, Terra Verde immerses themselves in all aspects of art and creativity. They continue to support the arts and local social organizations.

Keep the arts alive by showing your support for local organizations such as Art Attack! which Missy Sosa serves as vice president, book clubs, folk art, Spanish clubs and area musicians which frequently perform at the coffeehouse. Terra Verde is also a strong supporter of Lakeshore Natural Resources Partnership Inc. The Sosa family also engages themselves in helping local families with children suffering from cancer with fi-nancial assistance for gas cards, and gift certificates, so that the family unit may be stronger. Each Friday, 10 percent of their cash sales go toward donations for a kids with cancer benefit.

It is a peculiar thing indeed, the desire to grow and prosper and try something new. It’s also something the Sosas are comfortable with helping their patrons achieve. Like the seeds that grow inside the cherry, they too must divide their intentions and see what happens. But that’s a conversation to be had over a different cup of coffee. Stop in and see what everyone is talking about.
